Time is running fast… PLM Europe - Siemens PLM Connection 2014 will open its doors in less than six months.

After the great success of the 2013’ conference with more than 850 participants from 25 European countries, nearly 100 presenters and 45 exhibitors, we work hard to make this year's conference better, and even more attractive and informative for you.

Top speakers from Siemens PLM Software will inform you about the latest developments and news in the Siemens PLM product range such as Tecnomatix, NX and Teamcenter.. Well known big “Players”  from all over the world will demonstrate how they work effectively with Siemens PLM Software.  In the Exhibition Hall nearly all leading companies using Siemens PLM Software will exhibit and present their newest solutions.  And of course PLM Europe - Siemens PLM Connection 2014   offers numerous opportunities for networking and exchanging ideas with other participants.

Some of this year’s highlights that you can expect:

Teamcenter Lifecycle Collaboration Track

Teamcenter helps you deliver increasingly complex products to market while maximizing productivity and streamlining global operations.

At this year’s PLM Connection we will not only share the latest developments of Teamcenter from the Siemens PLM product team but also show how these tools can be implemented in order to improve you company PLM strategy. You will also learn how the different Teamcenter applications have been organized into the following domains in order to simplify your approach to PLM:

Starting with PLM. For most Teamcenter customers, the first step on the PLM path is to take control of product data and processes. Manage and share mechanical, electronics, software and simulation data, as well as documents and bills of materials (BOMs) in a single environment. Use standardized workflows and change processes to streamline your organization.

Extending the value. Next, companies take a look at related domains and processes. Managing requirements. Including suppliers. Connecting engineering with manufacturing and service. Extending the value of PLM across the product lifecycle.

Transforming your business. PLM can help companies to take their business to the next level. Applying transformational solutions to the product lifecycle for a profound business impact. Driving product cost, quality and sustainability initiatives. Establishing a systems-driven approach to product development.

NX Product Engineering Track

Product design and engineering is critical to every companies success, and having the best tools at hand to meet todays and tomorrow’s challenges means you will be stronger than ever to tackle the growing complexity and demands in the market.

At this year’s PLM Connection we will not only share the latest developments of NX from the Siemens PLM product team but also show how these tools will help you tackle your company’s product design and engineering challenges, providing a deep dive into many best practises and workflow examples.

Furthermore a number of user case studies will help share others knowledge and experience that you and your company can leverage and learn from.

There’s also plenty of opportunity to network and share your thoughts directly with the NX product management team, either as part of the many sessions during the event or in a more relaxed environment during the many networking opportunities.

So don’t miss out, make sure you take the opportunity to increase your understanding of what NX can do for you and your company putting you at the forefront when it comes to product design and engineering.

Manufacturing Engineering Solutions

Future production facilities will be much smarter than today’s factories. Achieving this vision of manufacturing will also require the elimination of a large number of discontinuities in terms of media and data transmission. This is the key to achieving the goal of making production operations cheaper and as flexible as possible, with ever more rapid innovation cycles. These sessions will illustrate how the Siemens PLM  manufacturing engineering solutions can leverage this target and how these could close existing gaps.

We also plan having:

Learning Theatre – Speed Learning

We will try to make a small classroom for 5 to 8 persons in the exhibition area. Every full and half hour there will start 20 minutes sessions to show “Hot topics” from all areas of the Siemens SW portfolio, staffed by Siemens experts. The Siemens presenter is after the presentation available for “Follow-Up” discussions with the “students”. Some topics will of course be repeated. Feel free to suggest your topics of interest, via Karla Kluth, and we will try to put together an interesting program.

Notice; keep in mind, this is not a Hands-On sessions. Sessions will not be run during the plenary sessions.

Roundtable discussions

This year we plan to run “Roundtable” sessions. The first one will be as a follow up of sessions of System Engineering and Mechatronics. The second one is not decided yet, but can be in the areas of “Business excellence” or “Deployment Excellence” (Keeping Up with revisions of the Siemens tools). If you have a topic of general interest, feel free to send you suggestion to Karla Kluth.

... and as always, don't miss the opportunity to network with your piers and our product management team, to share experiences and to get most current product information from first hand.

Don’t miss the opportunity to get information directly from Siemens PLM developers listing their presentations or book a 1-2-1 meeting.
