Plenary Keynotes, Motivational Speaker and User Presentations

Technology and connectivity are transforming the way products are developed, manufactured and supported through comprehensive digital models that can be interrogated and optimized. These models or “Digital Twins” are comprehensive and accurate digital representations that can be used to predict performance and determine the optimal methods for production. IoT connected smart physical products and plant assets can connect to their digital twins and provide insight for optimization and support.

Tony Hemmelgarn, President and CEO of Siemens PLM Software, will review Siemens’ strategy and investments in the technology and solutions for the digital enterprise creating the Digital Twin.

Jim Rusk, Senior Vice president and Chief Technology Officer of Siemens PLM Software, will then lead the lead the live demonstrations on how a digital enterprise uses the Siemens Digital Enterprise Software Suite to create Digital Twins to drive their ideation, realization and utilization processes.

This year’s Motivational speaker is Bruce Dickinson, Pilot and Lead Singer of Iron Maiden and will share with you Turn your customers into Fans.

What to expect in 2017?

One of the areas where you will learn more about in the many breakout sessions, roundtables and knowledge theatre slots offered is around additive Manufacturing.

3D printing started over 20 years ago but it was limited to soft material and plastic material. What has changed in the past few years is that printers are getting cheaper. Now everybody can buy a 3D printer for $500-600 and use it for hobby applications. Additive manufacturing is changing the way products are made. New revolutionary machines and processes are rapidly pushing additive manufacturing from the prototype environment onto the production floor. Manufacturers are producing breakthrough product designs that were impossible to make using traditional methods. The benefits that additive production methods can provide include weight savings, better performance, simplified assemblies and more material options.

And make sure to visit the 4 companies, Stratasys, HP 3D Print, Ultimaker and TRUMPF in the Solution Centre and Foyer 3 to learn more about and discuss their 3D printing solutions and how you will benefit from working with them.
